Naturopathic Medicine (IN CLINIC)
Naturopathic medicine is a distinct primary health care system that uses evidence-based research and natural treatment methods to address a variety of acute and chronic health conditions. The underlying principle of naturopathic medicine is to treat the root cause of the disease by stimulating the innate healing power of the body. Naturopathic doctors take the time to evaluate all aspects of a person, including physical health, mental well-being, & social/environmental factors, in order to develop customized treatment plans that best address the person's needs.

Nurse Practitioner
A nurse practitioner (NP) is an experienced registered nurse with advanced education, skills, and extended class registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario. Nurse practitioners have the authority to perform controlled acts beyond those available to Registered Nurses (RNs), including ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, communicating a diagnosis, prescribing pharmaceuticals, performing specific procedures, and referring to specialists. NPs often act as an individual’s or family’s first point of contact with the health care system, similar to the role of a Family Physician
Nurse practitioners often work in collaboration with other healthcare professionals. NPs are trained to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care, with a focus on health promotion, disease prevention, and the management of chronic illnesses.
Community Acupuncture
Community acupuncture refers to a model of acupuncture practice where treatments are provided in a shared or group setting, often at a lower cost compared to individualized treatments. In a community acupuncture setting, multiple patients receive acupuncture treatments simultaneously in a common space, such as a large room with reclining chairs or beds arranged in a semi-private or open layout.
This model aims to make acupuncture more accessible and affordable to a broader range of people. By treating multiple patients at once, practitioners can reduce overhead costs and offer treatments at a lower fee. Additionally, the group setting can create a sense of community and support among patients who may share similar health concerns.
Community acupuncture clinics typically focus on providing treatments for a variety of common health issues, such as pain management, stress reduction, insomnia, anxiety, and digestive disorders. Practitioners often use a combination of traditional Chinese medicine principles and modern techniques to address these conditions.
Overall, community acupuncture clinics aim to provide quality acupuncture treatments in a cost-effective and inclusive manner, making holistic healthcare more accessible to diverse populations.

This method bypasses the digestive system, allowing for faster absorption and higher concentrations of nutrients to be delivered to the body. It’s often promoted as a way to quickly rehydrate, boost the immune system, improve energy levels, and treat deficiencies.
Common vitamins and substances used in IV vitamin therapy include: Vitamin C, B vitamins (such as B12), Magnesium, Calcium, Antioxidants (like glutathione)
IV vitamin therapy requires an initial IV assessment with our Nurse Practitioner to ensure you are a candidate for treatment.
